Please don't tarnish a whole race because of a few bad apples, I know many good blacks and we have many in my church. The problem with their behavior is negetive influences. There are 3 types of influences in the universe: Positive influence, Negative influence, and indifference. Influence leads people and animals to do their actions.

When blacks were freed from slavery, the newly freed slaves did not cause any crime. They were new to freedom and most of them tried getting jobs to support their families. They were trying to survive like every other person in the United States at that time. However, the blacks were treated horribly by whites (especially in the south).

The Ku Klux Klan started killing and intimidating them and making them feel inferior (breaking their spirits), people made lies and propaganda about blacks, made Jim Crow laws to limit their freedoms, and much more. This is nothing but negative influence that they didn't deserve. The whites had no excuse to persecute blacks and make fun of them for their color. The blacks were like innocent children who simply wanted to be just as good and survive like everyone else they saw. But when their white counterparts feed them only negative influence, in the long wrong they will become a negative influence themselves. If a child only knows evil and hatred, that is what it will do.

The whites on the other hand treated each other equally and they had better schooling systems and etc. Overall, the whites treated each other with positive influence. The whites continued to get smarter and progress. You could go on the street with a smile on your face and go into a restaurant and strike up a conversation with someone and have a good time. A kid of yours could go to school and make friends and get an education and go to college. You could go to the store for groceries and be on your way. At least, if you were white. If you were black, you likely wouldn't be able to do any of these stuff.

Enough negative influence can cause an affect after years of hatred. The blacks were treated so badly and unequally for such a long time, that even when times do get better, their minds are still warped. (This can be due to blacks telling their children, and their children's children their experiences with whites in America.) The blacks likely think that the United States is against them since they were back in the late 1800s and early 1900s and think "Why even try? Why serve and educate myself for a country that hates me? Id rather steal and kill to survive. Id rather drop out of school and sell drugs to get money and survive.

I feel because they have had too much negative influence, they now currently act out on it. Why they didn't back then? Because humans have resistance towards influence but over time, that resistance goes away. I mean back in the 1950s, there was very little black crime rate. In the 1960s, it exploded. In 2000's, blacks were several times more likely to commit a crime than a white person. Gee no wonder! Whites were never persecuted or killed by racist groups or had their spirits broken. They never suffered but their black counterparts did.

Influence is a strong thing. Its so strong, it doesn't even have to be verbally or physically expressed! Influence can be simply by thinking! Have you all ever heard of Emotos water experiment?

It is an experiment where a scientist got 3 beakers filled with water and put rice in them. He said to one of the beakers, "I love you." Then he said to the other one, "You are an idiot and I hate you!" Then he ignored the other one. After a month, the beaker that was thanked was still healthy water and the rice didn't appear to rot. The beaker that was hated turn black and showed signs of diseased water. The neglected beaker began to rot. (It is not the words that affected the rice and water, but merely thoughts or a matter of feeling being expressed into words).

I honestly feel that whites are also part of the reason why blacks have high crime rates. The blacks are humans and do have free will and know right from wrong like everyone else, but their minds have too much negative influence and they simply don't care. Whites however treated them badly. The blacks were second class citizens and had barely any rights etc.

I think that if whites treated blacks like they treated themselves, it would not be like how it is today or back in the 1960s. In a perfect society, whites treated blacks with respect and love and allowed them in the white schools and educated them the same way, the blacks would be no different than the whites. But the whites just weren't having it and did the opposite.

The majority of human beings on this planet just want to be accepted, nurtured, and loved. Acceptance and love = positive influence. The blacks didn't get too much. History would agree with that.

Now I ask you all this. If whites did treat blacks better (I mean to a degree of virtually no racist people and the Ku Klux Klan instead of hating blacks wanted to help all walks of humanity) and blacks had the same rights as whites did, what do you all see them as today?

I know the answer, God knows the answer and you should too!
