Corn Dog User ID: 28518686 United States 06/26/2014 03:19 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | How can a power infrastructure allow for that many people to be without power from a single attack ? While our power transmission infrastructure in the US is nowhere near the best, I cannot imagine how 1 strike location can result in the same effect. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15121820 It is a country of 24 million, not necessarily are they all without power. |

At gold camp, we couldn't wait to turn the power off. I think that 99% of USA, without power, panics in about 12hours. I love you. |

Losing electrical power should just help them live the dream. "God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787 |

One may have what they need but that will be the least of their worries once chaos sets in. |

How many people did the N East of N America were affected about 11 years ago? I remember a very friendly party/BBQ that lasted a couple days. Neighbors actually started talking to each other. I think it scared the PTB into turning it back on. They expected chaos but, got peace, happiness and communication. What could be scarier? So they turned it back on and we all disapeared into ouzel we again. First it was Canada's fault. Turned out it started in Ohio. So it became a X flares fault. In Yemen, it was da bomber Coo Coo's fault. I blame it all on TPTB. For bad weather too. The malls are open, let's go shopping |
