The conversation that left me flabbergasted

Okay, so I was at work when I bought of the subject of guns to one of the hostesses .

The conversation went like this:

Me:" I need a gun to help protect myself "

Her: I don't like guns

Me: Why? If someone breaks into my apartment, I'm shooting.

Her: I just don't like guns, remember what happened at Sandy Hook?

Me: you mean Sandy Hoax? No one died that day it was an excuse to implement gun control

Her: how could you say that? Kids died that day

Me: nope, I don't see the evidence

At this time I was explaining to her about crisis actors and about how the family's reactions didn't seem genuine and how it was admitted to being a drill.

Her: so they put fake bodies in the caskets and etc

Me: no one died that day, no evidence, no funerals, no caskets . The government used children dying as an excuse to take away guns and control us. Our government is corrupt.

So she explained to me that the government would never lie to us. She was telling me how the government never kills anyone and our government is not corrupt.

I told her when I was her age (19). I woke up to what was happening in the government, they send us overseas for nothing. We bomb and kill millions of citizens and it's all for nothing. I've known people who deployed to combat zones and regret it. They felt used.

Her: nobody told you to join

Me: first of all, I joined thinking that I was fighting for my country, that's what I wanted to do. I learned that that is not the case, I was just being used, and abused by the government. The government don't like us, they don't like you.
