I used to, a lot. I used go drink at least a pint a night and only good vodka. Cost me $20/night for a pint. That's a lot of coin.

What is amusing is that I have started watching shows on Netflix, I've already watched in the past. It's like I'm watching them for the first time. Amazing what you don't remember doing/watching when drunk.

If you drink a lot of hard alcohol every night I suggest keeping an eye on your long term health for obvious reasons. Alcohol poisoning isn't the only thing that can end up killing you in a short period of time. Large consumption of, and long term use of hard alcohol on a nightly basis can lead to damaging inflammation. Inflammation can occur in the liver, pancreas, stomach, and intestines due to the long term use of hard alcohol.

In some cases this can also lead to an infection. If an infection becomes septic it can lead to septic shock which has a low survival rate. This can also lead to lactic acidosis, and acute kidney failure, liver failure which reduces your chances of survival even further. Lactic acid is what is released when you exercise. It causes the ache and pain you feel from such exercise. Your body can become flooded with this acid, and depending on how high your acid levels are can eventually lead to shock.

Not to mention if it pools in your lower muscular regions it can cause extreme pain, and loss of use for those muscles. This means you will be unlikely to be able to urinate, or defecate on your own without the use of a bed pan or catheter. It can also lead to having your buttocks wiped by an old male nurse many times a day while you're hooked up to several things at once most probably this includes a heart monitor.

would do the 4 shots that's in the half pint one after the other so i would be hammered really fast.

3-4 ounces every night. I rarely ever drink enough to get drunk. Just a soothing nightcap. Good or bad idk. I feel rather healthy all the time. It's been many years since the last time I've been hungover or even sick. I dare not stop drinking for fear that i might GET sick =D

Why would hard EtOH be any worse than the same amount diluted in beer or wine? Beer and wine contain pollutants and taste gross - at least pure vodka is ethanol and water only. It would seem best to get pure, but not too concentrated for medicating pain.

I'd skip the ethanol if there were better drugs legally available.

pints are really for alkies...just enough to get the shakes away, but not get trashed, maintain

i don't know anybody who buys pints, unless they are in between real drinking sessions, like an alkie

I used to drink a lot beer and or vodka. I'll have a mixed drink every now and again, but mostly just stick to beer, and cutting that drastically down as well

I only drink about 1 1/2 liters or so a day about.

It has been a few months...I usually only have vodka when I go to outdoor events, like the airshow in April here...we get there early Saturday morning, claim our campsite at about 8 AM even though the airshow doesn't start until 3 PM...but I put the Vodka in peach V8 Fusion juice and it was awesome. I sip on it all day, along with lots of water...

Wake up go to the hood, cop some heroin. Shoot up. (Occasionally hook up with my gf before work). Go to work. Get off work. Either go buy more heroin or head straight home and start drinking. See, I found out if I drink myself to sleep I won't stay up all night itching and doing more heroin.

That was a decade ago. Good God. What a horrible depressing life that was. Nothing will crush your spirit like a heavy duty alcohol addiction.
