Urgent call for Fasting and Prayer for America July 1-7 2014

Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? Isaiah 58:6 Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter--when you see the naked, to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?

Some people will chose other ways of fasting than food but it is for love of God and most important prayer for our nation and around the world is the intent.

I just thought the timing was suspicious. I agree - our country is in serious trouble, and with our leaders moving our nation further and further away from God, we must rely on our faith and trust in God to see us through.
