How can an employer discipline you for calling in sick?

Multiple sick days in 3 months???

I wouldn't take a sick day in YEARS!

At 1 point I had 120 (max) sick days built up so I didn't accumulate any more because I was at the max.

I would fire your lazy sick ass & not lose a minute of sleep over it!

My boss just canned my ass today, oh well it's my fault. But that fucker didn't tell me until I finished my shift.

I got enough savings to last me out 2 years easy but I should get another job by the end of the month but might have to relocate.

Congratulations. Now your are free to dig into your savings without any sort of positive income, in a bad job market, with a nice black mark on your work history.

Guess what. That sh*t follows you! You filled out your tax paperwork right? Guess what, most jobs do background checks, and will call your prior employer. What do you think your old boss will say about your work ethic? Do you think he'll give you stellar marks for saying it's so unfair you can't call in after drinking and wanting to spend time with your Girlfriend?

My savings would last Mr two years at 60K a year. But I will have a new job in a few weeks because I have many industry contacts who have wanted me to join them. Gonna put in a few calls, then go on vacation for two weeks.

Lol no. I don't drink that much. My GF can leave and take her bipolar type tendencies with her when ever she wants.

Just because you have the ability to call in sick, doesn't make it a god given right. Why should they reward you, or even keep you if you are unreliable.

I thought I was done with this thread but there is something more I want to add, and this comes from years of personal experience on both sides of the fence; as an employer and an employee. The more you call in, the more you risk them figuring out that they really don't need you as much as they thought when they hired you to begin with.
