Even if the GOP takes the Senate, they'll still likely be at least a dozen seats short of the two-thirds necessary to ensure a successful impeachment vote. They'll never get the remainder from the Democrats and they know it. Unfortunately, its just not going to happen.

Even if they had the senate the left over moderates wouldn't be this stupid. Democrats did shit after bush when they had both iraq, cia torturing, and the banking scandal to hang the entire party with. Would republicans be that dumb to go after obama the democrats would never hold back again and would wait for their time to strike back.

I would wager it won't happen. He's only got two years left and the repubs already have their eyes on 2016.

No one's getting impeached. Just face the facts that the best that can be hoped for at this point is for the House, and Senate (assuming the Repubs get control) stonewall him on everything he tries to do.

Of course, that will in turn, turn voters against them again, because the Democrats will whine that nothing worked because Republicans stopped implementation.

It's just a circle of bullshit that keeps on spinning.

No. I think the winds are turning against Dems because of how off the wall and totally insane our Commie president is and because of how many Dems will suck his ass no matter how outrageous his actions are. I think a GOP majority would hope those winds stay strong in their favor toward the election of a GOP pres in 2016 so they can possibly have themselves a trinity of power.
