WEYMOUTH (CBS) – The remains of 12 people have been discovered in a storage unit in Weymouth.

The District Attorney’s office says the discovery came as part of an investigation into former Dorchester funeral home director Joseph O’Donnell of Mattapan. He ran O’Donnell and Mulry Funeral Home on Neponset Avenue in Dorchester, but he lost his license back in 2008.

On July 18, 1969, Mary Jo Kopechne, 28, was killed when Senator Ted Kennedy drove an Oldsmobile off a bridge into a pond on the way home to Martha’s Vineyard from a party on Chappaquiddick Island around midnight. Kopechne was the passenger in the car.

A follow up on the shooting at the MBTA station a few weeks ago... I think this was when it was still Zombie Daddy's thread and I was reporting this from the scanner the night the train derailed...

MBTA Police say they have a suspect in a shooting outside of Stony Brook station earlier this month, and are asking for the public’s help in tracking him down.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Justin Hollingsworth, 22, of Boston for assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon and “multiple other firearm-related charges,” a press release from the department read.

Still keeping track of the flap over the surge in school enrollments from Otis. Bourne complained in the news today on camera, but I can just imagine the back-room buzz in every administration in the state.

I believe the summer schedule of the influx was intentional to allow the dust to settle before the first day of school. The price tag for this is going to be (borrowing from Elf) GI-NORMOUS!!!

Then the media will spin the happy "first day" in new haircuts, clothes, backpacks, etc.
