You oughta hear some of the funny stories a retired cop pal told me...like the time one of the cops accidentally discharged a submachine gun in the office...wiped out a bunch of computers in a split second, nobody hurt.

Another cop was notorious for having several times accidentally destroyed his radio-car by accidentally discharging and hitting its engine.

Judge Judy lives in Naples

The circumstances around the shooting, including who fired the weapon and why, were not immediately clear. It is also unclear if anyone else was inside the home at the time, but officials said both Young and Monroig had children from previous relationships.

Young was previously married to Naples detective Robert Young. He declined to comment when reached on the phone.

“I’ve spoken to him and a lot of other members,” Weschler said. “Like everybody else, he’s hurting with this and trying to put it into perspective.”

Weschler said Young and Monroig were not married, and was not sure if they lived together. Family members at a Golden Gate Estates area address listed to Monroig declined comment.

This is GOOD news. A good cop is a DEAD cop.

A memo from May 2012 shows Young accidentally fired her gun while removing it from a holster in 2011. She received a written reprimand for the incident and had to go through remedial firearms training.

Young was also investigated for several other incidents; including having sex on duty, living with a subordinate, threatening someone with a gun and unauthorized use of a city vehicle. All of the investigations were unfounded.

I personally wish they'd all open fire on each other. I hear apologists claim without the police, we'd all be in grave danger. BULLSHIT. It is an extremely rare occurrence when a cop prevents a crime. Most of their time is spent generating revenue and shooting dogs and kids. THE only PURPOSE OF THE POLICE IS TO FORCE COMPLIANCE THROUGH FEAR OF DEATH OR GREAT BODILY HARM AND TO GENERATE REVENUE BY ROBBING THE CITIZENS THROUGH CODE ENFORCEMENTS. 200 years ago a highway patrolman was called a highwayman, a person who robbed travelers. I can't see the difference between a cop and a gang member other than one is sanctioned by the government to rob, rape and shoot you and the other is not, and a street gangster is unlikely to kill you without a real reason whereas a cop will do it just to watch you bleed out

It is hard to celebrate the death of another human being, by the cops today in USA are out of control. They will shoot you, your daughter, your wife, your grandmother, and face no consequences. So, I too have very little sympathy when I hear of one of them going down. They have brought this upon themselves with their actions: tasing the elderly, shooting the homeless, shooting pets, slamming 100 pound females face first into the pavement. Karma is a great thing. I wrote the following song about the LA cops and their black and white cruisers harassing people for no good reason, they are their to protect and serve you, but they serve themselves only.
