| Vidal User ID: 55722 07/09/2006 09:05 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Most scalp related conditions are caused by a fungus that lives in the moist environment of the scalp. It is hard to destroy but a simple solution is to topically apply cider vinegar to the head and leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Then wash hair normally but use no conditioner. When hair is mostly dry, apply a little extra virgin olive oil to the scalp and rub it in vigorously. Do this daily, and in a week or two, the fungus will be killed and your hair will have a shiny ne look to it. |

Apply liberally to the affected areas at least twice a day...Soak your head with it if that is the area...It is better left on for a period of time, but rinsing while taking a shower will help, just take longer... The tea keeps in the fridge for weeks, and the dried plant keeps in a cool dry place for many months... Works amazingly well on Poison Ivy as well as other skin afflictions... I am not a great believer in most herbology, but this is one amazing plant that actually works...Just steeping the tea releases a scent that makes your mind clear and peaceful... |

There's a product called Aveeno with hydorcortisone and other stuff available at Walgreens. You might try almond oil. Stay out of sun and try not to sweat. Quoting: ac 114840You beat me to it. Lack of hydration is a big culprit when it comes to skin problems. Many people drink plenty of fluids, but not always water. My Grandmother had a problem with psoriasis on her hands, and found a product called Eucerin which she nearly proclaimed a gift from God. Probably isn't something one would want to smear atop the head, but then again... Ave Gæ , morituri te salutamus! |

Also, take coconut oil internally - three tablespoons per day at intervals. Take Threelac if you suspect a candida infestation. It's easy and you don't have to restrict your diet. |

Quoting: dodiedeApple cider vinegar is amazing. I know people who take antacids all day long not realizing they may have a *lack* of acidity, they take a glass of water with a tablespoon of apple cider and no more upset stomach. I put a few drops in my cat/dog water bowls and it prevents cystitis and other urinary/bladder problems... |
| California Fuji User ID: 60359 07/21/2006 01:27 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm not too sure what you mean by "scalp psorasis", but it probably wouldn't hurt to try rubbing alcohol, if you can rub it into your scalp. I know it may sound too simple, but it's easy to try and if it helps then that would be good. But then again I'm not entirely sure what you are suffering from, so I might be all wet with this suggestion. If the alcohol stings on your scalp then maybe it can help. If it causes some reaction you don't like then stop using it. If don't know if it could lead to a cure over time, but it might knock the symptoms down to a lesser level. Just guessing. |

Lather up, work it into your scalp, and let the lather sit for at least 15 minutes or so. 30 minutes or an hour is even better. It takes a few shampoos, but it definitely helps. |
