The executives are exempt most of the time for any criminal or monetary responsibility for their actions. Many executives and their cronies moved from one financial institution to the next after the crash and suffered no hardship for their actions. The Bank pays then makes up the money with credit card rates ranging from 20 to 32% and those in charge of things can't see why consumer spending is down. Lots of inappropriate actions take place in the corporate world. Many executives serve multiple boards so moving between companies is easy. Banks are necessary in today's world. Because of so many disasters in the financial world there are lots of regulations. Regulations are only good if enforced. Dirtyboy Think beyond impossible. |
