That Biden speech was kind of profound. He made the comment that democracy will be the only government that will prevail if it delivers on its basic promises. Guess what? Those promises have gone down the shitter and those boogie man "alternative governments" will get a green light. I'm shocked that was a surprisingly well delivered speech. This is a lot more significant than the auto dealership connection.

p.s. Those alternative governments have done very well - Iraq, Libya etc. Iran survived the 40 year embargo. The big threat is that they make USA look pretty simple in its mediocrity of living standards. Decent strong man governments have always done comparatively way better than democracy as long as the dictator cares about his people. The establishment constantly tries to hide that fact by bombing it out of existence. Might makes right.
