Applause for illegal aliens at the shelters for their difficult journey
[link to dallasmorningviewsblog.dallasnews.com]

"The first thing that happens when refugees walk into the shelter here is that everyone — especially the volunteers — all applaud. They applaud. They recognize the harsh journey that’s been taken"

It's one thing to provide humanitarian relief for people and another to applaud them for breaking laws coming here.

Screw them.
I have been on a difficult journey for the past 40 years, and now because of shit like this and affirmative action, I am barely able to feed my family. Even though I am way more qualified for the position than some of the minorities that get hired.
So I repeat, Screw them.

It's sickening at the reception these people are getting, when there are homeless citizens in this country.

Basically saying: uninvited foreigners are more valuable.

There used to be a time to come into this country you had to prove that you had the money and the means to support yourself ... now days you can just walk across the borders and become a burden on the taxpayers.

Sad times.

Yes! When our ancestors came through Ellis Island, they had to be disease-free, be able to work, and have money to support themselves until they got a job. They also had documents. They could not have a criminal background.

Have you ever noticed what these immigrants were wearing after days on a ship? The women were in dresses and the men had suits and ties on!

And now big business is pushing a foreign worker program for truck drivers, and welders etc....

I thought they needed highly skilled workers for jobs there aren't enough americans to fill. Seems a 6 month training program for the unemployed would take care of it. When will people realize this recovery is being sabotaged to keep everyday Americans out of the work force?

I came here too and that's the way it was when I came here... NOT Ellis Island era though lol! But even when I came it was still the same way ... I have worked since I was in high school I started a business here, I employed others and until the last few years it was doing well. Recently I've had to close down due to lack of work and I took what I could get for a job I have never taken assistance! Even if you look at the laws now to LEGALLY come to this country the requirements are the same, what's happening now is a slap in the face to everyone!

I wonder how much applause these volunteers would give if the illegals were German, or French or whatever.

The activists talk about the racism of those that oppose illegal immigration, but would these same activists be shouting for rights for German, French, etc. illegals?

Here he insults Governor Perry for wanting the Nat'l Guard:

"Gov. Perry, for example, said that he wants to send the National Guard down here. For what? With all due respect, is the governor afraid of teddy bears and the kids?"

No fuckface, with NO due respect to you, I'm sure Perry is concerned about the infestation of crime and disease you bring. I would bet he is his concerned that over 80% are between 15-25 year old males. Many who are clearly gang and cartel members who are not fleeing dangerous conditions or gangs and seeking a better life but rather are coming here for new opportunities to commit crimes. And finally I am sure Perry must be concerned with protecting the border using the Nat'l Guard sending a message that we don't want illegal invaders just skipping across our borders anymore. So fuck you very much Ralph De La Cruz.

I would bet they do NOT receive applause. It sounds like Obung sent his little minion down there to write a "rah rah rah cheer illegals" piece to plant certain nuggets in your mind:

1. Illegals had a harrowing journey rather than an easy trip via travel arranged for by Obama.
2. To give the impression they are brave - look at everything they risked to get here just to fulfill their dream costing taxpayers more more
3. Most Americans are generous and kind - not like those who stood up in Murrieta. See the trick there? The message is standing up for your country, your rights, your community makes you a bad person. Welcoming illegal invaders and not impeding their smooth passage into your communities makes you a good person!

I personally don't see anything wrong here, honesty this looks more like karma to me, murricans came here the killed folks ,took their land, and now they are no longer illegal aliens but they were at some point, now this mexicans are coming to the land they took and are occupying it the same way they did but with less killing, what does the bible say something about remember the iniquity of the fathers unto the third and fourth generation? looks to me like this is the generation where judgment will be laid upon.

From the article:
Jose Antonio Vargas was once well-known for being a star up-and-coming journalist at The Washington Post, a Pulitzer Prize winner before he hit the age of 30.
Today, he’s best known for being America’s most prominent undocumented immigrant

So this guy is smart, can write successfully enough that he won a Pulitzer Prize, he's produced documentaries and started a company - but although he's been here since the age of 12, he has not bothered to go through any legal channels toward citizenship. Why?

I guess if you want to revisit every sin in history, we should go back to spain shouldn't we?

I mean, if we're talking about people taking land, shouldn't we be accepting the native mayan population, and telling the spanish decendents to f*ck off?
