Also I need to add that probably no one knows exactly how many terrorist is inside and there are dense urban areas so it is just guesstimate. Russia said the jihadist stronghold is just weeks from its fall now so we will see.

Russia and Syria have about one month. Not sure what Trump will do in Syria. After last nigh VP debate both candidates seek to pay for confrontation with Russia, China, Iran and Syria.

Well, this is not true. They occupy just a part of the city. Larger part is under control of Damascus (and ever was). When tarrorists came to Aleppo 600k residents fled to the areas under the governmental control. Damascus governs the most populated part of Aleppo where IDPs found shelters when they were displaced by so called rebels.

He's part of the resistance against Israel, he refused to allow pro-dollar gas pipelines through his country, he has an alliance with Iran and Hezzbollah, he refuses to bend the knee and surrender his country to Western hegemony.

Any one and all of the above.

I'm not seeing the SAA liberating the whole of Aleppo in a few weeks, more like months. It took them about a week and a half just to capture Handarat camp, Kindi Hospital and Al-Shuqqayif industrial district with considerable effort, which are basically at the outskirts of a city that is becoming increasingly dense the more they move in.

The real fight still seems ahead of them. I'm only seeing fighting being done at the usual spots, nothing is coming from the east of Aleppo. There's nothing indicating they are preparing to attack Aleppo from another direction. They aren't steamrolling yet.

The expectation is that there will be another final attempt from western Aleppo in an attempt to break the siege. Plenty of ground to cover, many distractions to fend off. Lack of ammo, water and food may catch up to the rebels at some point, but they're tenacious regardless.
