If Trump is going to do that, he's override the executive order that weakened posse comitatus. He'd also override the orders that give the president unlimited supra-constitutional power in a national emergency. To say nothing of the orders that boosted the EPA's power. Overall, it'd be a total reset of the executive branch.

Zod, I'm not defending everything Israel has done. But it's a categorical lie that Israel denies rights to its citizens. Citizens of Israel, regardless of ethnicity or religion, possess the same rights as Jews. That's why you find Arabs and Muslims in the Israeli army and government.

Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza have been wronged by Israel. There's no question in my mind about that. Indeed, the Israelis committed genocide against Arabs in the region during the early days of the Zionist state. Israel keeps oppressing Palestinians - the Palestinians want it to stop. The Israelis won't admit it's oppression. Equally, the Palestinians keep supporting terrorist groups. The Palestinians won't renounce terrorism. Both sides cite religious and historical evidence to support their "claim."

But this line of rhetoric coming from Kerry, that Israel has to be Jewish or democratic, is bullshit. That's not the issue. The issue is that both sides refuse to come to the table until certain preconditions are met. They keep blaming each other for not accepting their respective demands.

This situation will only end in blood. Neither party is just.

In 2007 we had operation orchard, what happened in the immediate aftermath prompted Israel to ready it's nuclear forces. Frantic phone calls forced Syria and Israel to back down. Israel then began to covertly undermine the Syrian regime since Israel now regarded it as a major threat. Then comes 2011.
