I'm not holding out on a war actually happening, its quite a messy affair, the only plus for the current US administration is that it wouldn't really change much in the way of Trumps approval.

There will effectively be a constant ramp up of tensions and deployments/assets on all sides within the region then when NK actually has a Nuclear capable ICBM that is with Quality to match Quantity the game changes.

It screws china massively, because china is top dog in producing the tech and requires massive amounts of the resources.

If the North was to fall to western friendly or western nations and the reserves were taken from their access (China's) it would threaten their economic advantage and they could easily lose their power status.

even more interesting if you look at it this way, if the North was to advance on the Missile and Nuclear weapons programme, not even China could reign the North in and the North would then have access and opportunity to capitalise on their reserves, China once again would lose a huge advantage, and it would explain the recent pressure from China on the North.

If anyone is still thinking that China & Russia would be on US side against NK is seriously deluded. China urges to cancel THAAD deployment. NK is just a bargaining chip...
