There is still no actual proof that Israel is handing arms to Iran to then dispense to various factions and militias to then be transported back through Syria to Lebanon into Hezbollah's hands.

Not accounting the Quagmire that would form if Assad lost power and the Sectarian conflict spread further a field to Lebanon.

I can see however the plus notes for Israel in the situation we see now, but it helps to know who is actually pointing that gun at you and who is more likely to squeeze that trigger.

The fact is the Russians deployed their Iskander baterie in January in Syria.

It brings Iranian forces closer to Israel and allows arms to be moved around more freely, IE the Country is at war who is going to pay attention to a convoy of vehicles carrying Manpads or ATGMS and munitions.

not to mention the fact that when Iraq was destabilized back in 03 it gave birth to some nasty militias and organisations some of which later became ISIL/ISIS
