Is a AK pistol for a CETME .308 A good trade?

Ammo for the .308 Cetme is $1.00 a round. 7.62x39 is around 25 cents a round. I would keep the AK.

I would say make sure the cetme functions properly. I've owned a century built one as did my buddy. Big ol pos if you ask me. Now the older ones are quite nice.

Do you have ammo and spare mags with your AK?
Do you have more than 1 AK?

Seems like the receiver is forged not stamped. Have yet to check the bolt gap but it seems like finding parts is no big deal. It came with 35- 20 rnd mags. Yes,35 of them. Got some cleaning to do,huh? Lol !!! Thanx for answering :)

I'd keep the AK, buy another AK, and check out what could be done to that pistol post-shtf. Check out ACE folding stocks.

Full-auto with the original trigger set is an option, however most triggers have be changed out for American components to make them compliant.
With a proper optic (red dot) and a good trigger finger, full-auto is just a great way to waste valuable ammo.

Yes, but there will be plenty of full-auto stuff available robbed from armories, dead cops and what not.
I was talking post- shtf sbr for personal protection. There are also legal stocks available for that pistol that connects to your forearm.

I wouldn't do it unless SHTF. All you guys say "just learn to shoot" well I am 50 years old and I live In Los Angeles and when SHTF I see mobs coming at me not one-at-a-timers, so yes I will need to go fully automatic.
