Did Anyone See the Moon Last Night?
Was anyone here on the East Coast awake at 3:00am last night? Did you happen to see the moon? I left with some friends from a restaurant around midnight and the moon was a wonderous blue/ivory/white color. I leave my friends home at 3:04am and the moon was a pale red. thought the moon only changed that color during an eclipse?

I looked on Nasa's website and they showed nothing about an eclipse..

So can anyone tell me just wtf I saw?

So the dust from the trail of a comet made the moon turn the same color it does during an eclipse?

The search for conspiracy only increases the elements of morbidity and paranoia and fantasy in this country. It romanticizes crimes that are terrible because of their lack of purpose. It obscures our necessary understanding, all of us, that in this life there is often tragedy without reason....

The last 3 days here the moon has had a halo around it. Looks like somebody is shining a flashlight behind it and the light is forming a halo effect. There's probably a scientific explantion for this, I just dont recall it. But it's eerie. Havent noticed any colors changes here. Later door

Dude...it's the thunder moon, relax

THUNDER MOON: Picture this: You step outside on a warm summer evening. In the distance, a stroke of lightning lunges to Earth. One-one-thousand, two-one-thousand, three-one-thousand. The air shakes with thunder and, at that moment, the clouds part to reveal a brilliant full Moon.

Too good to be true? It could happen tonight. There's a full Moon out, the "Thunder Moon", named after the storms of summer. Step outside and see what happens: sky map

I uploaded two pictures to the GLP photo album, but not sure how to link to it. Fair warning I have an old digital cam 2.0 and taking pictures at night does not work well for me.

Re: Did Anyone See the Moon Last Night?
I can tell you DEFINITIVELY that what you saw at 3 am was a localized effect.

Out here in Phoenix I was just leaving work at midnight, and I noticed the full moon shining down. Stopped to admire it actually, bathe in it's pure light... stoned

It's pure WHITE light. I distinctly remember thinking how pure it looked, like ivory soap. Perfectly round, perfectly white.

And I'll remind you that midnight in AZ is 3 am on the east coast... scratching

Saw two out of place animals moving east on Sunday. (SW VA) It was like they had someplace else they seriously wanted to be.

Any body else seeing strange animal behavior? And don't start with the "I saw my dog having tea with Mr. Spock shit".
