Let's look again at how this latest round of aggression began. On May 20th, the Israeli government shot and killed two unarmed Palestinian teenagers, three weeks later on June 12th, three Israeli teenagers were kidnapped. The Israeli government immediately launched a search for the teens which lead to the arrest of between 350 and 400 Palestinians killing 5 in the process. Tens of thousands of Palestinians were not allowed to travel to their jobs in Israel and government forces confiscated $370,000 in cash and $2.5 million of property ranging from computers, cars, mobile phones, and jewelry. These items were taken from private homes, clinics, companies and universities. (This is against international law, but that doesn't seem to matter) Keep in mind that Hamas had denied involvement from the beginning, and there was no evidence presented that they did.

Can you imagine how the American public would react if this was how a kidnapping investigation was handled in one of their cities? Sadly, the bodies of the victims were found and we see where this has lead since then.
