The John Titor story, is a real time traveler or a hoax?

Here's a mind fuck...which is more likely ..that he is actually a time traveler who went back in time and warned us? OR.. that the collective consciousness of the millions of internet users over the years who have read his fictional account...actually manifested it into reality?

I honestly don't know how you can make that claim. If he wasn't stating the truth, then what is truth? Do you see what is going on?
