Youre all idiots to roll your eyes over Yellowstone.

Yellowstone blows up every 650,000 thousand years when its 60 mile deep calderra tops off, full of magnma, Were upcoming the next one and approaching the next due date.

All of North America wil be covered in ash and we will all be dead
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 59732926

not all, no

however by the end of this Age ALL of us will be physically dead as we will exist in our original spiritual bodies from that point forward

mankind will no longer be in flesh form

wherafter those who enjoy killing and raping others etc. will simply be shit outta luck from that point forward

which is as it should be in fact and in full

then where will they get their kicks I wonder?

oh I know... "they won't"

; )

Visibility is bad, as we are getting all the smoke from the over 200,000 acres burning in WA state. Its better today in Western MT. Don't know about over there. But its going to remain and get worse each day....
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 60502188

The massive wildfires in Washington probably explain the haze, thank you.

Less reassuring is that those WA fires look like they were actually started by volcanic activity... [link to i.dailymail.co.uk]

Really weird.

Refraction of light as it passes through the beams of a space weapon directed at the core of Yellowstone.

Similar to HAARP.
Yellowstone will blow because it is part of the illuminati's plan for martial law.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33041776

Martial Law. There won't be anybody left to marshall except maybe on your continent.

Idiots!

I do Yellowstone webcam timelapses and I was wondering why the visibility was so bad today and yesterday... Can hardly see a thing in the distance, where it's been crystal clear for months till now.

It's just a sickly noxious haze over Yellowstone.

And now, the entire USGS monitoring map for Yellowstone is OFFLINE: [link to volcanoes.usgs.gov] - if this stays down, there goes one of the best sources of raw info for warnings. Been checking this site daily for 4 months, not once has it been offline before.

Look at the timelapses.

Compare this timelapse from July 3, 2014 (an ordinary day with normal visibility):

Helium -4, not normally present, has suddenly appeared at Yellowstone in unbelievably large amounts never seen before. When Helium -4 was seen at other volcanoes, it appeared shortly before major eruptions of those volcanoes.

Or

BigFoot needs BeanO...;)
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 60462751

Helium emission is from degassing of the mantle plume. It tends to indicate primitive material entering the system and is characteristic of upwelling mantle material.

Where you should be concerned is if it remobilizes the thick silica rich mush down in the actual chamber. Then you might have a problem.

Speaking of gas, I'm on the toilet unloading a few pounds of the taco bell and let me tell you, this gas is so potent, it could blow up my house. I think if I can handle my own potent gas, I could handle Yellowstones gas.

On another note does anyone like the smell of their own gas.

I know. So what caused the fire? Reporters interviewed officials in their news coverage, and it was agreed that the type of fire, behavior, and location were all unusual.

I'm saying it looks like a small crack of doom opened up on a hill nearby, seeped some gas and magma and heyo. Just an idea.

The "sickly noxious haze" is most likely smoke from the several large fires burning in Idaho to the west from Yellowstone.
