I Failed Miserably At Life

yep you havent failed till you give up. you have to have faith and believe things wil get better. i am strugling as well an i have three kids very stressful

I'll debate that. Both of my children have been great in every way (with a small exception while the daughter was in high school). My 17 year old son has always been a perfect angel, great student, and has never gotten into any trouble of any type.

After reading these posts it looks like your in better shape than you think!. I say take all the good advise ,it can get better. Good luck!

OP what place does Jesus have in your life? Everything else should come second to him. Maybe you feel like a failure because you're misplacing value in worldly things, when ultimately we should be looking forward to eternal heavenly treasures. Once you get to that point, the things of this world don't seem so important anymore. It may take some time, just work at it if you don't know the lord yet.

I look at it this way, I didn't fail life, life failed me.

I hope you're still out there, OP. Look, there are 5 pages of posts from people who cared enough about you to respond. If you can affect strangers that way, you can affect people right around you too. Figure out what you can do for other people and you'll start feeling better, more like you have a purpose and a meaning. And it will lead to love in your life. I guarantee it.

I'm sorry to hear your'e having a bad life and that you feel like your failure.

The good news is this: The biggest winners in life are those who failed miserably for years and years and years. Most multi-millionaires went dead broke many times.

Another bit of good news: Every decision you made in life got you to where you are now. If you want to be in a different place, all you have to do is start making different decisions.

Sounds flippant (yes, I heard it on TV) but it is a piece of advice that has helped me turn my life around. Seriously. I am a person who was in the mental hospital 3 times and now I just got a GREAT job and I haven't been sick in a long time. Now, if I can turn my life around, so can you.

If you want to get inspired, read some biographies (free at your library) of people who made it big. 9 times out of 10, they started with nothing, had a ton of miserable failures, then finally made it.

Babe Ruth, the guy who made the most home runs, also made the most strike outs.

In order to succeed, you have to risk failure. You've already done that.

And besides, there is no such thing as failure. The only real failure is if you refuse to try. If you try something and don't succeed, that is not failure. That is just that you learned the wrong way. Failure is only when you don't even try. Because as long as you've done something, you haven't failed.

Also, I recommend checking out some books on self-hypnosis. If you can see in your mind the life you want to have, and create that visualization every day, you can create it in real life.

Also, check out some motivational books from the library by people like Tony Robbins, Zig Ziglar, and others.

I know things dark. I understand darkness. I used to be psychotic. I also don't have kids. But you CAN change your life around. All it takes is learning how to make different decisions.

I have faith in you.

Hey, I knew a guy with only a high school education, who was also kind of a dick. He married a woman who was a nurse, who already had two kids. She supports him, and he takes care of the kids. They had a few more and seemed pretty happy, to me. If you are a man who wants kids, you can probably find a woman who already has one or two. If you are not a dick, then you already have an advantage over that guy.

Welcome to my post, and how I have been feeling the last couple of weeks. Throw in some ptsd caused by bad romance and you have a small tweek.

Who said you failed? Money doesn't make you a better, children are not only to be loved they teach you something. Maybe you didn't need to be taught what children can give.

Don't get so hung up on failure. Do what makes you happy, but doesn't affect others in a negative way.

To succeed in life, you must change your thoughts and live for God. The essence of life comes from God, the Creator of all, who holds and sustains the world in existence. And to accept Jesus Christ into your life is the first major step. When you follow God, you are a success no matter how harsh life is because this life is only temporary and what awaits in the afterlife is the paradise of God.

In the paradise of God, no one is hungry, sad, or in pain. Everyone is successful and overjoyed with happiness. So, what does it mean to be successful in life.

Success means to do good and be virtuous for God. Success means to help humanity in their time of need. Success means to help the poor because they are often forgotten. Success means to care for the sick, shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, educate the unlearned, care for the orphans, and etc. For when you do these things, you are helping and blessing God. God rewards you great treasures in heaven for your generosity and good.

And if you don't have kids, don't feel bad. The world is so dark and cold. Life on earth will only get horribly worse. But you can make a positive change in a person's life, while you are living. There are always children in the world that need guidance and a father's love. You can volunteer to help needy children and be a blessing to them. Children are God's gift to the world. So surely, even in heaven there must be children that also need a father's love and that you can call your own some day. For in God is your desires fulfilled.

the fun part is, nobody can "fail" at life.... you can always fail at your interpretation though.... go get 'em tiger.....

If you don't have any debt I don't want to hear any more.
