50 years is enough time to add up the little things in life that make it worth living, those little things can make me happy for an eternity.

If you took the Billion each year you would get that much more depressed and anxious..It would be a great going away party though.

I would take the billion and the ten years. In ten years I could get done everything on my bucket list. With a billion I could make a major effect on people's lives. I mean a real one on one effect. Not starting some pissant foundation where the only people getting money are the crooks running the foundation.

Umm I'd take a significantly less amount of money for even 1 year left to live! Think of all the people you could help in that one year, and all the fun you could have...

I've kids so 50 years struggling. Money doesn't make you happy but it helps in the process :-)

Making ends meet isn't struggling imo. Struggling to me means not being able to eat properly, being homeless, etc. If I were making ends meet, meaning I had decent shelter and food *and* had love in my life, both platonic and romantic, then I'd choose the 50 yrs.
If I was homeless or had to live in a dangerous area, couldn't afford food, etc. then I'd choose 10 yrs. wealthy.

reason being I know what awaits me following same and there is nothing on Gods green earth that holds a candle to it as of yet

that won't change until the onset of The Eternity

altho the Millennium Age will be a damn sight better than this
