"Even secular scholars have rejected the idea of Christianity borrowing from the ancient mysteries. The well-respected Sir Edward Evans-Pritchard writes in Theories of Primitive Religion that The evidence for this theory... is negligible." |

Rubbish, the only people to "claim" to have debunked it are leaders of fundi religious groups who see this, the truth, being a block on future revenue streams. |

Absoultely hated this film. I saw it when it came out in 2007 at a local art film house. The only reason I went because the local alternative paper billed it as the "Ultimate Conspiracy Movie" The sequel was total new agey commie shit. But this film is very very good. Set's up all the pins and knocks them the fuck down. My problem with the movie is that it paints religious extremeists as whites... The most paranoid end of the world biblle thumper rapture addicts are blacks. I guess he was trying to be PC. |

The economic piece is right but is now much more catastrophic. The zoo part is right, but the aliens need to be identified as the zoo keepers and their human agents specifically identified. The religion part, particularly the trashing of Christianity, is absolutely WRONG. Christ is the Lord of lords, the King of kings, the Alpha and the Omega, the Creator. This needs to be stressed and the mathematical evidence prevalent in all of nature needs to be pointed out in detail. There was no part mentioning demons and hostile spiritual forces intent on maintaining the zoo and stealing your soul. There needs to be that information brought forward clearly and with good evidence. |

Why didn't God make a more direct approach eh? Think about it. Anyone can write anything and declare it divinely inspired. I don't doubt Gods existence but I do doubt seriously what was written. Paper and words, copyrights, made in factories somewhere in a foreign country. Whom does these books benefit? |
