Cheap Fast Food That You Crave!

Something about the combination of low cost and good taste, it makes me feel so good!

OK, yeah I'm embarrassed but I love Jack in the Box tacos.

Two for a dollar, I get four! That's a piddly $2 for lunch!!

So what's your favorite cheap fast food?

Cheap or quality.

You only get one.I like my beef to be actual beef not soy and sawdust.

I never eat fast food.

But I was craving a Chalupa so I made my own.


I roasted some corn on the cobb and cut it off and made a corn and bean relish with some tomato, scallion and cilantro.

Then I made a South West sauce with some sour cream, mayo, lemon juice, Cayenne pepper, paprika and salt.

I cooked some ground beef up and seasoned it with taco spice then did some refried beans.

For a chalupa shell I used a home made dough that I mixed up and rolled out. You put them in the fryer for about 30 seconds and then when you take it out its soft and foldable but still crip and crunchy.

Smear the shell with beans then add beef and some Qeuso fresco cheese. Add the corn and bean relish and some of the south west sauce.


They are totally amazing. Kind of hard to eat but its the best street food you could image.

The only way to eat it is to hold it like a boat shape, folded like a taco.

Then you just stick your face into it.
