Don't move and live in a desert. Then get upset because..shit you're running out of water. I don't feel for anyone that chooses to live in a desert region.
 Quoting: Nefarious Libertine

i hope you dont live in a tornado prone area, or hurricanes or flooding cuz we might not feel sorry for you either so.....
 Quoting: krinkfan

I live in a hurricane prone area. There's a difference between prone and normal climate. If a hurricane was the normal climate that would mean on average I would live in an area with normal sustained winds of 175 mph, storm surge of 12 ft.
You would be nuts to move to an area where that was the normal climate. Just like I think you're nuts to live in an area with no water, having to pipeline it in from hundreds of mile away.
You don't need more water piped in from other places that do have water. You need suitcases and U-hauls.

Are you a blithering idiot? A person selects their location primarily due to career. If that career takes him to Arizona does he say "oh no, what about water".

Since you're simply quoting the Bible, I'll say "Point taken"..but you know what? Laying out the evidence that God is and always has been hell-bent on destroying us anyway (no matter WHAT we do) and that maybe, just MAYBE if we beg and plead for forgiveness and admit what losers we are, we might get to suffer a teeny bit LESS than all the others sure as hell doesn't make the case for why we should do a fucking thing to change anything, I'll tell ya that much. And that's just plain sad.

Lol. I couldn't agree more. God has done more damage to his chosen people then anyone else could ever hope to do.

Monsoon season in AZ sucks this year so far. I think it rained a total of 20 minutes.

I'm standing here hoping that it will rain, my tree's have had it hard lately.

Of course there aren't any careers anywhere else in the country. You are part of the problem. You can't see past nothing but the here and now. No foresight at all. No grasp of the exponential function. No outlook on the macro world around you.Probably believe such Bullshit as sustainable growth.( Hint: growth in it's very nature is not sustainable)
Keep drinking the Kool-Aid. Call me an idiot and a retard. Your government will fix the problem for you. You can trust them. Water isn't important at all only your career. Keep believing that. Keep buying cheap shit from china and living in your McMansion. Makes you feel better about your life.
No skin off my back... I'm not having a water shortage problem right now.....nor anytime in the future.

We do not learn from history because our studies are brief and prejudiced. In a surprising manner, 250 years emerges as the average length of national greatness. This average has not varied for 3,000years. The stages of the rise and fall of great nations seem to be:
The Age of Pioneers , The Age of Conquests ,The Age of Commerce ,The Age of Affluence ,The Age of Intellect ,The Age of Decadence.
Decadence is marked by: Defensiveness, Pessimism, Materialism,Frivolity An influx of foreigners The Welfare State A weakening of religion. Decadence is due to: Too long a period of wealth and power, Selfishness Love of money ,The loss of a sense of duty.
The life histories of great states are amazingly similar, and are due to internal factors. Their falls are diverse, because they are largely the result of external causes. - Sir John Glubb The Fate of Empires
We are at the end of the Age of Decadence heading into COLLAPSE

Maybe far fetched but I thought I trow it in anyway. Maybe some of you heard that if you fold dollar bills in a certain way you get images. The 20 dollar bill shows the destruction of the twin towers for example. When folded right the 50 dollar bill shows the hoover dam breaking.

There was a water thread here least year where several posters inserted articals showing how the US officials conducted several dam releases on several dams over a couple of years (during droughts) and wasted billions of gallons of water from the Colorado river. deliberately lowered the lakes water tables.

Find that thread and you'll have the proof this is manufactured.

Yes I remember that thread too.

But even before that, the water level in front of Hoover Dam was going way down and the water table / aquifer in Phoenix has been massively depleted in the past70 or so years.

God isn't doing anything. WE are. We are bad to the Earth. We are bad to each other. We are bad to everything. What did we expect to happen ? We created our own bed. Unless we turn things around in the way of being good to the Earth and each other then we can kiss our civilization goodbye.

Things like fracking are just creations of our own selfishness and immorality towards life. In other words.........we can do a lot better but for some messed up reason we don't.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 48843365

Oh I know it's our fault but when you stack Bible doom on top of all the other doom I worry about, the hopelessness just seems outrageous. And not for anything, but whenever anyone quotes Bible doom here, it's all ABOUT God's plan to destroy us (hence, the DOOM) in the worst way possible. I've yet to see the loopholes in His plan that might offer some leeway just in case we did pull a rabbit out of our ass and fix everything. If you know where that's at, I'd love to see it.....

Bible doom is the worst.....uhoh

Wow...again, in the foothills, not a drop. Oh well....

I gotta say I really love the Sonoran desert - especially how everything looks right around 6:00 - 6:30 as the sun sinks, casting that weird light on the mountains and all around....anyone know what I mean? It's just looks crazy magical to me for those twenty minutes. And the sunsets and sunrises alone are...well..amazing. To live in Tucson and not feel SOME connection to our desert is kinda like missing the whole point.

The point of the article is here

So what to do? First, fill in the data gap to figure out exactly how much water is left so decisions can be made about its management for the future. That’s where the satellite program called Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment comes in. The satellite measures tiny changes in an area’s gravitational pull to determine its groundwater capacity.

“There’s only one way to put together a very large–area study like this, and that is with satellites,” Jay Famiglietti, a coauthor of the report and a senior water cycle scientist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, said in a statement.

It's called, NASA wants federal money for satellites to
do worthless studies on ground water and make excuses for
UN assumption of control of water in the USA.

It's called, nevermind that HAARP weather control facilities
are eliminating normal rainfall in the west to aid the CIA
forest fire setting activities, and kill off wild game
so hunters will not have that option when the globalists
lock down food supplies.

How about we stop the chemtrails,
stop the fires set by federal agents,
shut down HAARP facilities?????
