No doubt, the current liberal minded street protesters against Israel, even as the V-1s and V-2s were raining down on London, would be screaming that the D-Day invasion was a disproportionate use of force, wringing their hands over civilian casualties in Berlin and demanding that Churchill was prosecuted for war crimes.

Of course, the destruction and death in Israel is absolutely heartbreaking. Hundreds of civilians killed, children dead, buildings in ruins, constant explosions rocking their cities, and nowhere safe to go. Most of Israel resembles London during the Blitz.

Oh wait...

World War II Civilian Deaths Due to Military Activity

USA --       0
UK --      67,100
Germany -- 1,100,000
Italy -- 153,200
Japan --  500,000

Guess the USA and UK should have paid reparations for war crimes and Churchill, FDR & Truman be indicted, because of the disproportional number of civilian deaths amongst the parties, no?
