Air Algerie tracked on infared satellite imagery???
I'm watching the news this morning and an airline expert is showing satellite images of Air Algerie, in flight, and where the thunderstorm cloud was in relation. Next story, they found the plane wreckage, and the teens body who was trying to fly around the world and crashed in the ocean.
My first thought was, if we are able to use satellite imagery to track the Air Algerie flight (and find the wreckage so quickly of a small twin engine prop plane), how can we completely lose the Malaysian flight?? I'm no expert on this type of imagery, but it seems the Malaysian flight could have been tracked the same way...?
