I don't have work settled right now because I will be moving around august next year.
I will probably look for a doctorate scholarship for now. (I'm a biomedic)

Can you guys tell me a bit about cost of living? (I wouldn't be moving to Stockholm, but to Eskilstuna or around there).

Aside that, how warm is the swedish people to outsiders?
I don't speak the language yet, only english and portuguese.

Do you have an education in the medical field? Is it valid internationally? You can manage with your English no problem. As an example, a nurse would get around 26000SEK in salary, you pay around 30% taxes, you can rent a small apartment for 5000SEK, next biggest cost is food etc ect these are rough figures, need some more specific?

Yes, my education is entirely in the medical field, with the exception of an extra degree I have in computing systems.

About the validation, apparently Sweden is not asking for some specific degrees in certain areas to be validated, and that includes biomedical sciences. And even if there is some sort of validation, I can go through it no problem.

Do you have any idea about the values of scholarships for Masters and Doctorates?

When I asked about expenses I mostly meant food, rent, transportation and medical expenses.
