The things I learned from our electricity going out last night
This during a huge storm, a storm "microburst", with enough lightening to fry anyone's convicted criminal.

If you have batteries, let them not be "rechargeable" batteries.

Before letting the ice cream melt, eat it. Screw the milk.

Even though it would be cool to go outside and watch the huge hailstorm, don't, because the lightening is popping right above your roof, and you will be electrocuted.

Let your animals hide wherever they want. They will anyway, and will change places often.

As the storm subsides, and you are lying naked on the floor, in front of an open window, hoping to catch whatever breeze there is, your animals will pester you enough to make sure you never fall asleep.

I hope it's not a repeat tonight.

Need to get 1.twenty one gigawatts up in that bitch. Tesla had a device which was an antenna which gathered electricity out of the normal atmosphere. That's where it's at..

Plus that 1st grade science experiment with the lemon used to power a clock.... They got an onion charging an iPod on a YouTube clip..

That's a little extreme. I'm thinking extra batteries at WalMart (not the rechargeable kind) might be appropriate.

They already did. But, our area ( a big area) looks like a war zone.
