I remember being stuck in traffic for Bubba's motorcade whenever he decided to show up in LA and party with Hollyweird trillionaires. Loved that movie btw "Fortune, honour, beauty, youth are but blossoms dying. Wanton pleasures, doting love are but shadows flying." ---Thomas Campion |

They are soooooo freaking disruptive to the industry which is already stretched to its breaking point due to crowded Flt corridors and jam packed airports. Quoting: KungPowMeowMeow During the last presidential election season any time a candidate was in the air on the east coast, dozens of commercial planes would be diverted out of their way causing 2-3 hr delays at major airports. Ridiculous. I agree, they should use a military airport. It would be safer. They have one too, it's called Richards-Gebaur. They say it's closed, but as far as I know the military is still using it. |
