There are usually two sides in conspiracy debates. One side claims it's all ''fear mongering'' and a massive psy-op to divert attention from (take your pick). The other side claims it's all a ''done deal'' and we're doomed/should head to the bunkers.
In case of Ebola, people are making sweeping statements without any background in virology, etc., whatsoever. The same pattern repeats in other areas of research.
''They're experts, they know what they're talking about, I read it on ther website,'' you're gonna hear them say.
Well, unless you know someone personally, how can you truly rely on ''experts'' you'll never see in your life and - truth be told - know nothing about?
It would seem we need a more balanced approach, and engage our powers of observation and discernment, rather than jump to conclusions every five seconds. |
