Last report was both infected were on mechanical ventilators. I seriously doubt he was extubated enroute home and able to walk into the hospital on his own accord. I'm gonna call it a decoy show.

Since I feel this is important I am sharing this info here in this thread. I gave this a few moments thought and it makes sense. So what would this hurt if they are dying anyways?

My plan for ridding a patient of Ebola is cancer treatment.

Gamma rays inactivates the virus, so some I-131 pills or another radioisotope should help. Wouldn't they? Either that or send them to Fukushima.

S-adenosylhomocysteine hydrolase inhibitors work also, so wouldn't methotrexate also work since it increases adenosine which in turn would inhibit S-adenosylhomocysteine hydrolase? But maybe I am wrong here.

So if my theory on methotrexate is correct, a combination therapy such as those used on cancer patients would be worth a try.

To further my contention that cancer therapies should work, modern theories hold that many cancers are caused by viruses. And they are treated with radiation and methotrexate. I think I am on to something here....

Ebola is also moderatlty thermolabile. Boiling it for 5 min destroys it as does heating for 30-60 min at 60 degress celcius.

Ebola remains stabile for days down to 4 degrees celcius. But once it gets to -70 celcius, it is preserved. So the sweet spot seems to be right around the freezing point.
