Not only he was walking from the car. There was bunch of people walking around the car without any protection.

The more I think about it, that person who we were made to believe was Dr. Brantly, had to actually jump out of the ambulance. It was a big step. What gravely ill person in a bulky awkward hazmat suit could do that?
And, why would they deliver him to some obscure side door?
