Pretty damned tired myself. And really damned tired of seeing other people not working but fishing all day and drinking all night and posting about it all on Facebook.

I hear you op. It is so tiring after years and years but thats what seperates us men from the boys and you ladies from the girls. In ww2 my grandpa had to endure malaria, his best friends getting killed and three days of no sleep in winter conditions.He then had to come back and work at a mill for the remainder of his days. I think we can continue

I had the world by the tail before all the economic mess back in 2008. Since then, I have had to work double hard and have all this stress to go on top of it. I made alot of money back then and was very happy. I get out of bed now and worry if the bank will have changed the locks on my home by the time I get back home from work. I hate living like this.

Are you tied down with family? Also what is your profession

IMHO, you are only tired cause you were busy making a living instead of creating a life. My advise, turn it around. Focus on the internal world instead of the external world and you'll never tire of your pursuits.

I've been trying to accomplish this. It's really easier said than done. Debt drags you down even farther and I end up working overtime just to make ends meet.

I also have experienced twice the workload. Employers "expect" you to stay late and "just get it done or else." I am going through that now. A thousand people who are unemployed would love my job and would take it in second so if I don't produce, I'm gone. It's that kind of pressure that keeps me in my chair past 5.

I wish we could afford to simplify, but even to downgrade costs money we don't have. I'm 38, next week. I'm also very tired and should not be at this age. At this rate I won't live to see retirement age let alone be able to retire.

Pardon me.....but I did NOT make that choice. I came from an upper middle class family. I worked since I was 8 to provide my own money for school supplies and clothes.

As for making a life, I would agree with you there. I was too busy making a living to make a life as I haven't one. There lies my unhappines and regret.

also everyone has worked since age 5 they were not aware of it, everyone has a job to do and it changes often throughout your entire life. sad to know your parents were all about the money.
