Sometimes I think we're in hell.
This world seems to be beyond all hope. Not the planet itself, nor the animals and plant life, but humanity just seems broken beyond repair. Aside from the small amount of light I have seen--the real love that may exist sometimes in families or between loved ones--it is overshadowed and drowned out by the darkness. War, murder, torture, rape, etc. The world's filled with vile injustices met with apathy. The ones who can really make a difference choose not to, and instead serve their own interests. Maybe this is because you don't get into a position where you can actually do something about injustice by caring about injustice? I don't know for certain.

When I look at the world, sometimes it reminds me of a lunatic asylum that is run by its inmates.

And then you have beliefs. Religion. Usually the cause of all this madness, or so it would seem. Yet, where is God in all this? I am reminded of Al Pacino in The Devil's Advocate (yes, probably a terrible movie, but it speaks the point well). "He's an absentee landlord!" Or maybe God doesn't exist at all, and humanity will eventually destroy itself. At the rate we're going I have absolutely no doubt that this is an eventuality.

Maybe those stories about the demiurge are true. Or maybe this is hell. I used to see a light, but that light has gone dim. I hope I am wrong.

Welcome to the world of those that have eyes to see. Once you see humanity for what it really is, there's no going back. Good luck fighting the anger and pain you must endure every day as a result of your understanding. That is the reward for those that opt out of blissful ignorance.

No no! This is only the beginning of something better!

Mourn for the world, feel the suffering of all, and then let it go. Completely. Surrender it to the great void inside you, burn it all up in the fire of your heart. Knock on that door, and something so much greater will answer.

Your suffering will end.

You will see that the world is already saved. Completely innocent. Forgiven before it's even happened.

And then peace.

Stillness.

We are. How can you not see it? lol

We are a decaying organism living on a constantly decaying and rebirthing (life and death ) world.

What ive always found so ironic about this existence is how beautiful and peaceful our planet looks from space. On the ground , its anything else but...and no im not talking about humanity.

Everything lives to die here. Sounds like hell to me. What.is.the.POINT?

It is the beginning of something worse.

The world is already lost, it is not saved.

People just tell themselves such things in order to hide from reality, because it is too painful and hard for them to face.

The truth is, humanity should not be forgiven. It is failing and should suffer the consequences of its actions.

But do me a favor and go talk that shit to a child who just got sexually abused, or beaten, or is being neglected. Go tell that shit to some innocent person starving to death. Tell them that they just gotta endure that horrific shit because there's a shift taking place. I'm sure they'll be thankful for such enlightenment and release from their partial ignorance...

Your mind dreamed up this child, just now. This child that you're imagining isn't real, you do know that, right?

Is there pain and suffering in the world? Yes.

Does there have to be? Yes.

Why? Because it is happening.

The only thing you can clean up is yourself.

Tend to your own inner messes. See the world as it really is. And then you can easily, effortlessly, and painlessly help others clean up their internal messes.

Re: Sometimes I think we're in hell.
"There she is gone"

A poem by henry van dyke

I am standing upon the seashore. A ship, at my side,
spreads her white sails to the moving breeze and starts
for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength.
I stand and watch her until, at length, she hangs like a speck
of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other.

Then, someone at my side says, "There, she is gone"

Gone where?

Do you think your suffering in their name will heal them?

Do you believe that your negative beliefs help the world at all?

Does your suffering tend to the suffering of others?

Or could it be more true that escaping the bonds of suffering for the sake of imagining others suffering might help you be more whole, more capable of healing, peace defined?

We will never, ever, ever have peace in this world - ever - until each of us, individually, becomes peace inside. Not wants peace. Not champions for peace. But becomes it as a living example.

I was blind when I believed that all of my terrible thoughts about the world were true. I was blind when I'd sit in agony, crying over the imagined suffering of others. I was blind when I thought I could shame others into doing good.

Oh, I was so blind.

But we all are. Until we're not anymore.
