Hamburg - Ebola suspected in Hamburg! A man (28) from Freetown (Sierra Leone) said to have brought the deadly virus to Germany.

The man should be reached on August 7 over Paris in the Hanseatic city. From then on he was staying in a hostel in Hamburg-Hummelsbüttel.

On Saturday, the man complained then against 14 clock, fever and vomiting. With an ambulance he was taken to the hospital Heidberg. There he came to the emergency room. When asked whether he had come with Ebola patients in contact, he was initially no response. Then he was transferred to a isolation room.

Re: Ebola in Germany Hamburg
no, not related.

the one they wanted to treat here died before even being shipped/flown over.

this is someone who flew sierra leone and came via Paris to Hamburg, now lives with many other refugees in a "rooming house".
Problem is, ambulance got him to Heidberg hospital, not to Eppendorf, as they didn´t know what he had..
..and he didn´t answer the question " did you come in contact with Ebola infected people" .. now he is in Eppendorf.

But if he is infected.. we have a serious problem here now..

Hostel. Shared rooms or bunks with one common co ed bathroom. I did a couple nights in hostels in Europe. They're contagious enough without the ebola

Don't worry he will test negative. And all the people he came in contact with who are coughing blood in two weeks will test negative too, and their families with bleeding eyes will pass the test no problem. Probably a case of the common cold. The important thing is the test says negative so there is nothing to see here

Re: Ebola in Germany Hamburg
Sheesh ...

There are potentially 200 people, many unknown, who would have been in close contact with this person.

[/b]*Airplane flight to Paris (everybody on the plane close to him including flight attendants and airplane cleaning crew)

*Paris Airport (ticket agents, those in bathroom, airplane waiting area, customs officials and those in line there ... you get the picture)

*Airplane flight from Paris to Hamburg (everybody on the plane close to him including flight attendants and airplane cleaning crew)

*Hamburg Airport (those around him when he got off, baggage collection area, customs officials and those close to him in line, restroom area)

*Transport from airport to Hostel (those waiting with him for transport, those in the transport with him)

*Hostel mates and workers in the hostel including those who do laundry

*Ambulance crew that took him to first hospital

*EVERYONE in the emergency room at the first hospital

*Ambulance crew that took him from first hospital to second hospital

*EVERYONE in the emergency room at the second hospital until they got him into isolation

Start adding all those people up and you are easily at 200 people ... some of whom are unknown and untraceable
