People were getting fried under this sort of "zero defects" mentality when I was in during the Clinton years. The way they constantly build paperwork on soldiers to ruin them for every real or imagined infraction is one of the worst aspects of choosing the military as a career. |

Quoting: RedReddington That said, I think his 20+ years entitles him to a pension. I agree with what you say there. I also believe that there is much more to this story. "One lapse in judgment does not constitute a pattern of misconduct, nor a judgment of overall character." Read more at [link to allenbwest.com] He's right. One lapse in judgement is cause for administrative punishment. And if the behavior is not repeated it shouldn't reflect negatively upon him. Certainly not grounds for separation. Quoting: CaptRandom he can't be trusted to operate a car, why should he be trusted with a platoon? He should have been booted out in 2009 agreed, obama should have been arrested my military provost marshalls in 2009 for treason.....why didn't they have the "right stuff" to hold the line and arrest the criminal, that's the question i have about our military....why is the military putting up with the fraud in the white house?????? arrest the treasonous bastard for killing 6 seals, and an ambassador in Libya...Benghazi....only the POTUS can give a stand down order......even if POTUS is silent...it's still a standdown order.....the commander-in-chief is responsible for those deaths, so why hasn't the military done their job and arrest the criminal in the white house for premeditated, first degree murder?????????????????????????// it's time our military found some strength to do their job! |

Work hard, Play Hard? You have to understand that there is a force multiplier when your work influences the lives of many others. This in turn causes more stress on those initially doing the work which cause them to seek a relief from that stress. If someone goes to a doctor for "stress relief medicine" the people who go will later be called "crazy" because they needed medication to relieve stress. " This is exactly what President Bill Clinton did over seven years ago when his administration illegitimately added some 83,000 veterans into the National Criminal Information System (NICS system) -- prohibiting them from purchasing firearms, simply because of afflictions like PTSD". Doesn't help when a unit gets caught in the cross fire between National Security and Political expediency though.
