Supposedly we aren't at war anymore, why do we need to maintain war troop levels ? We now fight war with drones. Don't need a lot of boots for that. Welcome to the lousy economy. Good luck finding jobs.

check out the retention control point changes . The way things are going , a person will need a 4 year college degree before enlisting just to make sergeant.

Hint you sign up , boot camp and mos training and then you have maybe 3 to five years to get a 5 year degree on active duty before being booted.
ain't happening.

the military is working on being dependent free it looks like
