Anyone else get creeped out watching movies where the main character is dead in real life? | |

Funny you mention 'what dreams may come', it's on showtime now and is one of the movies I was referring to. |

The government news stations, and some of the commercial stations, always provide warnings in news bulletins and before some shows if footage of deceased persons is about to come on screen. |

I get chills seeing Heath Ledger, I totally agree with OP. I seriously am beginning to think being trapped in those films IS literal HELL for the sacrificed. No rest. |

So watching a movie from then, is like a purer watching experience. Like reading a new book. I don't know any of them and have never seen of "selfie" of them in their underwear. Glamour and mystery. |

Although one does get fleeting thoughts about deceased actors while watching some of their work but it doesn't spoil the moment, much. But i think i agree with Randy Quaid's words "there is a malignant tumor of star whackers" in the industry. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33610020 That could be what I'm experiencing. Movies where there isn't any type of "relationship" to the actors doesn't bother me at all. John Wayne died when I was about 10 but I still love his old westerns. I find myself changing channels when I see there is a dead, in real life, actor/actress. Almost has a morbid feeling when watching some deceased actors. |
