Tony Stewart has a History....Not Good...almost killed a Female Driver. | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 38347441 United States 08/14/2014 07:08 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Seems unlikely that Stewart "nearly killed a girl". The girl was taken to the hospital by her mother after the race. She had a fracture. According to her facebook page she had a "fracture in her back". I have no idea what that is, it is not an accurate medical description of anything. BTW, racing is dangerous. If you don't like the risks, don't race. |

He pushed her out of the way, broke her back and almost killed her,” said Greg Cooper, 44, a cousin of sprint-car driver Alysha Ruggles, on Tuesday. Ruggles, then 19, suffered a fractured back after her car was struck in a 15-car pileup caused by Stewart at Canandaigua Motorsports Park in July 2013. Just saying, maybe there is more here. We will see. Women can't drive, anyhow. Fail. |

Could it be that Smoke was trying to do this, got to close and caused the death of Ward by an accident. If so that is still putting him in the realm of vehicular homicide. Why isn't he racing at MIS? Layin' low? More than likely trying to work out a deal between attorney's to keep him in the sport. As my other thread says though he is still at risk of being charged for this. |

This time he climbed in the window of Brian Vickers' car and grabbed him after the race at Sears Point Raceway. [link to abcnews.go.com] 2006 Stewart, known as "Smoke," is the first to admit that his bad temper on and off the track has gotten him in to trouble. "It just got to the point to where if I didn't figure out something soon, I may not have had a job," he said. A Homecoming He saw a psychologist for anger management and made the decision to move from the fishbowl of stock car racing's capitol, Charlotte, N.C., to the comfort of his hometown, Columbus, Ind. [link to www.ibtimes.com] 2013 In March 2013, Stewart tried to get physical with another driver on the track. When Joey Logano blocked Stewart on the last restart at Auto Club Speedway, the three-time Cup champion was none too pleased. Crew members had to separate the two, as Stewart pushed Logano, unprovoked, and threw a punch at him. Professional fighters of all kinds get charged all the time. After a 1999 crash with Kenny Irwin at Martinsville Speedway in Virginia, Stewart got out of his car -- and threw his gloves at Irwin before reaching into Irwin’s car. Quoting: Boris the Cat Following a 2000 race at Watkins Glen, Stewart spewed expletives at Jeff Gordon. He was accused in 2002 of assaulting a fan, but no legal action was taken. He also punched a photographer after the 2002 Brickyard 400, drawing a $50,000 fine from his sponsor, Home Depot. Stewart tossed his helmet at Matt Kenseth’s car during a 2012 race at Bristol Motor Speedway in Tennessee. “I don’t give a crap. The hell with the helmet,” he said later. Stewart ran up to Joey Logano in 2013 and pushed him, before pit crews held the drivers back. Stewart was angry that Logano blocked him following a restart. "If he ever turns down across in front of me again, I don't care what lap it is, he won't make it through the other end of it,” Stewart said following the race. Stewart also shared words with Kurt Busch following a 2013 race at Richmond International Speedway after their cars collided. Stewart stormed off following the race, leaving without talking to the media. During a July 2013 race at Canandaigua Motorsports Park -- the same track where Saturday’s accident happened -- Stewart was involved in a crash that left Alysha Ruggles, 19, seriously injured. They all are competitive, and most have tempers that flare if things don't go right for them, but it seems that people are only focusing on Tony Stewart's temper. What about Kevin Ward's? I was watching CNN after it happened, and the reporter referred to Kevin Ward as a "pedestrian" on the track. Never said he exited his car in anger and stood in front of oncoming cars ranting! WTF? tony has been a violent asshole for longer than Kevin Ward got to live Please give examples of his violence. How many other drivers did he kill...did he savagely beat up? I can't remember reading about it. tony violent asshole, tony gotta go |
