Now the camera seems to be point toward the sky? Either way, the frame rate is atrocious. We need to buy Iceland some satellites and high speed internets. ;) The big shots tried to hold it back; Fools tried to wish it away The hopeful depend on a world without end; Whatever the hopeless may say |

Drone? But not like any drone I've seen. weird. Quoting: Coppercoal Light reflection combined with the tremors, the camera movement makes the small dot of light move in a circular motion. In fact the camera moved again and the "light" went down a bit on the "landscape" but still on the same vertical line. So, def light reflection. Was hoping it was some lava shooting up at first, but that is all under that steam. |

Hrmm. The big shots tried to hold it back; Fools tried to wish it away The hopeful depend on a world without end; Whatever the hopeless may say |

When large and visible, it looks elongated up and down, and looks like it is spinning on an axis. What the heck IS that?? When it was first showing in the area of the steam, I thought maybe it was some kind of static electric charge. Have absolutely no idea at this point. Anyone else see all that?? Quoting: justanothergranny I thought reflection at first... Possible Ball Lightning? |

The small fissure eruption occured in the last hours will probably trigger new events. The frequency of EQ are quite high.
