Just saw a huge green fireball south of Houston

At 10:40pm CST I saw a huge fireball that looked like it was heading straight down like a free falling object. It was moving too fast to be fireworks, or any free falling object. It was silent. Lasted half a second and go to be about as bright as a full moon. It size appeared to be about 1/4 the size of the moon.
No don't panic it might have appeared that size but remember it was much closer. Saw it from my back yard.
