You seem to have your words mixed up. As far as we know the universe is said to be infinite because we have no hope of ever finding the end of it because it is constantly expanding. Matter is finite, there is only so much matter in the universe hence the inclusion of something called Dark Matter, although this isn't an accurate name for this 'matter' because again we aren't totally sure if it is truly able to be defined as 'matter'.

The thing is you won't ever be able to use up all the matter in the universe due to there being so much of it. Remember, there are literally billions of Galaxies, containing trillions of planets etc. You'll need to be alive for trillions of years to even see a small percentage of the total number of planets in the universe.

So I wouldn't lose sleep over it if I were you. But as for your God. Well no proof has ever been found that proves there is a god and there never will be. Sorry to burst your bubble, but you really need to grow up and stop believing in magical sky wizards.

And yes, you can see another consciousness, scientists are able to see the electrical signals our brains make, and they have successfully translated a number of those signals to mean certain things. Its why people who have had robotic limbs fitted are able to use their brains to move the limb rather than use impulses in their remaining part of the limbs muscles.
