Once upon a time ww3 happened

It was a cloudy day.. There was a confusion. I got a call from Carole that day that someone had attacked a senior official in a national convocation day. The area was sealed and immediately two world leaders were blaming other foreign parties being involved. The tensions grew when an oil pipe line was reported to be blown up. This eventually led to an instant war between two rivals in the middle-east. I was on the radio that day. The news came in that ICMS were used to hit lands thought to have been involved in the tensions. What happened next was not clear. My friend who was a solar engineer told me later that it was an outburst from the sun but other reliable sources said it was a nuclear explosion in the east just before the sunrise... My cellphone stopped working as I could not receive any signal. Radio transmission was working and the station said 'this is it. Russia, China and USA are hitting each other ICBMS. At least half a billion lives are thought to be lost.' The next scream I heard were of women and children down the lane as riots broke out and there all sorts of looting. A strange looking man came in front of me with an unfamiliar weapon and asked me to give my possessions including the car keys. After giving what he asked for, he hit me and I woke up from the dream...
