EU bans powerful vaccums.
Anyone wanting to buy a powerful vacuum cleaner has only 10 days left to be certain of getting one - following new EU rules that come in next month.

From 1 September, companies in the EU will be banned from making or importing vacuum cleaners above 1600 watts.

The rules will get even tougher in three years' time.

From 1 September 2017, all vacuum cleaners will have to be less than 900w.

Rubbish, they are all for the most part crap, regardless of cost, you almost want to spent £20 on a cheap and cheerful crap that you have to throw away every 6 months to the crap they produce today.

My nans old Push you pull me Bizzel is 10 times better than the crap we get today... and no way do I think a 900w motor will be good enough for anything...

Ours is some giant cylinder thing built into a cupboard which then has piping all through the walls and outlets that you plug a hose into.

Very powerful. 5x more than average portable ones.

Hooray for laws!! I know without the government I'd never be able to think or make rational purchases. I'm so ghlad there's somebody helping me think and making me a criminal if I disagree. Tyranny is great. I hardly even notice it anymore. Especially with all the great laws they make to protect me.

Have fun paying more money to the big energy companies.

Bet you think it's a shame they banned DDT too, or weird chemicals they lace your food with!

I hate the EU too, but sometimes they actually make sense!

Why is that a good thing. There is abundant energy, and they've been using the good clean stuff in their black ops since before ww2, (actually a lot longer and before Tesla, from Keely on).

Pistol shrimps harness energy from cavitation.

Why was Sweden going to replace all their gas pumps with Hydrogen, and backed down. WHY?

Why can't I pull up to the pump and choose between hemp fuel, hydrogen fuel and methane, and why is our sewage, clean or treated, put in our water, not in our cars and furnaces?

Back to cavitation. Nature does cavitation but we're too stupid to employ cold fusion, and keep selling the lie physics to little kids, oh and please once you learn that an all negative, invisible, weightless (and obviously non existent) electron ORBITS without smashing into it, an all positive proton magnet, well, here's your sucker little baby, and I've got some swamp land to sell you....

By the way, cold fusion is not about colliders. Its not about radioactive harmful energy and smashing things together, its about HZ, friction and causing molecules to release their energy.

never say never. they banned the regular lightbulbs didn't they?

now we have the opportunity to chose between these wonderful options:

a) get to poison ourselves AND the environment with so-called energy efficient cfl lightbulbs

b) use 25-40 watt incandescents lightbulbs that amount to just a bit better than lighing a candle - but the upside is you get that "monk from dark ages" feeling - priceless

c) convince granny to sell her kidney to the albanians so we'll be able to afford to install LED lamps

so we can protect the environment! Mind you, cfls are hazardous waste but i'm sure none get broken and all are disposed properly. Mmmmhmmm!

Ban the oldskool lightbulbs! People still using them are terrorists! Report them to your nearest police station.
