Being meek does not mean being neutral. The way Christianity is taught today has castrated our men. Was David, Joshua, Gideon or John to Baptist meek? Did Jesus not say sell your robe and buy a sword?

Meek does not mean weak. They have changed the meanings of our words.

Look at the definition for meek in Webster's 1818 dictionary.

1. Mild of temper; soft; gentle; not easily provoked or irritated; yielding; given to forbearance under injuries.

Now the man Moses was very meek, above all men. Num.12.

2. Appropriately,humble, in an evangelical sense; submissive to the divine will; not proud, self-sufficient or refractory; not peevish and apt to complain of divine dispensations. Christ says, "Learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest to your souls." Matt.11.

Now the modern definition.

overly submissive or compliant; spiritless; tame.

Obsolete. gentle; kind.


I'm not advocating a race war. I'm just saying what is taught in the pulpits today is not the same as what the preachers of old taught. It's not what Jesus taught. They have made Christians docile. Are Christians today soldiers?
Hell no. They're not even allowed to speak out against political. They're expected to be politically correct and tolerant.

Did you see the story about the high school girl who received and in-school suspension for saying "bless you" to another student who sneezed? They said she had broken a class rule against invoking religious terms. So we're expected to be tolerant of everything except God?

Christians won't do anything about it because we're expected to "turn the other cheek", "be meek and inherit the earth", and all the other verses they take out of context.
