WHO - “Frankly no one knows when this outbreak of Ebola will end.”
WHO crafts new Ebola ‘road map’ for next six to nine months

“So with the evolving situation, with more cases reported, including in the three hot places – Guinea, Sierra Leone, and Liberia – the situation is not yet over,” Chaib said. “So this is a planning document for six to nine months that we will certainly revisit when we have new developments.”

The WHO said Wednesday that 1,350 people have died and 2,473 have been infected since the Ebola outbreak was identified in remote southeastern Guinea in March. It said that no cases of the disease had been confirmed outside of Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Nigeria, despite cases having been suspected elsewhere.

Total shit show. Does anyone even still believe that the WHO and the UN have even the slightest idea of how to stop this virus?

I'm sure the number of people that still have faith in those organizations is dwindling.

However, I'd say the majority of people in the Western world have little to knowledge of what is happening with Ebola. When it reaches their town or city they'll be shocked as if there was no warning.

I agree, this is being downplayed when it's actually the real threat compared to previous hysteria like H1N1 and Sars... which are a joke compared to Ebola.

This is the pandemic to fear yet nothing all very everything's ok on the media an false negatives everywhere. It's bullshit, this is agenda 21 with a 21 day incubation virus.

When more than 3,000 people in the U.S. have it, then, and only then will I call it an outbreak. Right now, it is not a big deal, nor a problem.

WHO chief says Ebola out of control (early August!)

“This outbreak is moving faster than our efforts to control it,” Chan told the presidents of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone at an emergency meeting in Guinea’s capital Conakry.

“If the situation continues to deteriorate, the consequences can be catastrophic in terms of lost lives but also severe socio-economic disruption and a high risk of spread to other countries,” she said, according to a WHO transcript.

originally endemic in china (coincidentally, china bought smithfield farms in 2013)
the disease causes a deadly diarrhea

So is a conjunction. So it joins one statement with the previous sentence. So it does not indicate uncertainty at all.

Coordinating Conjunctions: And, But ,Or, Nor, For, Yet, So

Come on buddy...think about that for just a second.

A problem is what is happening in Ukraine right now....a disease as serious as Ebola spreading throughout the globe is unabated is

GAME OVER

End of the world as we know it.

as a reminder

Currently there is an entire city of 75000 people in Liberia that is in QUARANTINE!!!

As in I will shoot you if you leave QUARANTINE!!!!

We've got about 1 week before that situation spins out of control

I think the WHO is full of shit and just trying to convince the public they have a plan of some sort.

As for the ever increasing infection rate, those numbers seem solid as they are based in mathematics. Should they stay on their current path we are in deep poo.

We have not even been shown anything close to progress at this point, if anything it just gets worse daily, so why would we believe that after 6, 9, 12, or whatever amount of months they will have everything wrapped up in a pretty little bow?
