This time it is about religious (monotheistic) dominance, and the oil just comes as an added benefit. The oil is not material for these people. |

Quoting: Saddletramp No one had ever fucking heard of ISIS three months ago, now they are the single deadliest, largest, weaponized, and well funded terrorist organization the world has ever seen. So why did we need a new and improved enemy? Because they know the American People were sick and fucking tired of war and hearing about Al Queda, when most objective and informed people already knew it was all a CIA creation and we were fully in bed with them in Libya, Tunisia, and Syria... Bin Laden is dead, and they needed a new and even more frightening face for Global Terrorism. So here comes ISIS, storming the castle like the propaganda barbarians they are paid to be, but how do they get a war weary public in the USA to back another adventure in the Middle East? The boogieman comin', time to open your wallets and give up your freedoms... The reoccurring thought similiar to biting on a bad peanut is that presumption "they" give a fuck about us being weary of war. "They" couldn't care less what the indigenous population wants that is laughably obvious. So now we've got this grotesque cartoon of world murder going on dripping in slick black oily evil to an unspeakable degree. Nothing can fix that except relief coming from destroying themselves. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14620252 At the current time it would be close to pointless for IS to attack the US as it would only serve to stall the progress in their current core areas. The same is the case for Israel, where the IS has said they are not strong enough yet to take on Israel. What we may see both in the US and Europe is much more unrest caused by IS supporters, government clampdown on these and clashes between IS supporters and the general population. This could very well turn violent in some cases, but not as an attack on a general country. Is supporters should be targeted and eliminated with extreme prejudice. Deport their families, shutter their business' seize all their bank accounts and disappear or assassinate any of their leaders. That would be a good start, but deportation is time-consuming and expensive, and the children you deport today are adults in 10 years and come back for vengeance. There must be a better way... There must be a better way... Perhaps an American pogrom - do to them here as they do to everyone else, everywhere else. BattlesightZero YOU, and only YOU are responsible for maintaining the balance of power between you and the rest of the semi-sentient beings in this world. You cannot disclaim or delegate that responsibility; it is a function of being a living, breathing "adult" in this world. If you can't manage yourself on those terms, someone else *will* manage you on their terms. Your terms are irrelevant. Buy a rifle; prepare to defend yourself. If you don't, what happens is *your* fault. Period. |

Now that is the real problem. I tried to told about this several times here on GLP. For example, here in Turkey, you can find 10's of millions modern, secular muslims (and half of them you can't distinguish in their life style & appearances from Christians living in the west) that are more aware, educated and thus most hate the US international&ME politics. I guess same is true for Egypt, where you can find secular, modern Muslims, so they are more aware and educated and thus they know who and why supported the political Islam supported worldwide. Now you can see on TV, preservative or radical muslims demonstrating and burning US flags etc. But in fact they are sheeples -like the sheeples which can be found in US and elsewhere- and after a while they believe what their US-supported islamic government told them to believe. The secular, modern muslims on the other hand are aware of the root of the problem and hate US at most. Ironic, isn't it ? Kemalism and secular state principles (for example Turkey was and still is, in many constitutionally ways more strictly secular than US) worked like a miracle here since 1920's. And this could be a real model for modernizing the muslim countries in ME too, if TPTB would really want the world peace. For example did you know that in Turkey, voting and suffrage rights for women were given in 1930 even before most European countries? But instead USoA supported all anti-kemalist political movements and organizations. Now since 2003 we have this Faildogan's party and their government on top, thanks to America again. [It was a project started in 1990's in preparation for 2nd Iraq war and for afterwards btw.]And they are working towards their agenda to destroy the secular state. But they can achieve it only over the dead bodies of 10's of millions here (you know what we did last summer). Sooner or later we'll get rid of them. All we want is to US take it's support away from them and mind itself's business. To know means to know all. Not to know all means not to know. In order to know all, it is only necessary to know a little. But, in order to know this little, it is first necessary to know pretty much. G.I. Gurdjieff |
